Rich Lanes Done and Dusted

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Rich Lanes
Rich Lanes

Action folded around to the short-stacked Rich Lanes and he moved all in for 77,000 from the small blind, which Andrew Moreno called from the big.

Rich Lanes: {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Andrew Moreno: {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}

Lanes was dominated and called for a ten, but his request was not honored by the dealer who ran out a board on {k-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

Lanes exited in 21st place for $5,168.

Kyna England Eliminated By Jason Fitzpatrick

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Kyna England
Kyna England

The hand escaped us, but we learned after the fact that Kyna England was dispatched at the hands of Jason Fitzpatrick.

The former got her stack in preflop holding {a-}{j-} only to have the latter roll over {a-}{q-}. England failed to catch and hit the rail in 20th place for $5,168.

It was another nice finish for England, who last month placed third in the MSPT Riverside in Iowa.

River Keeps Jesse Jones Alive

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Jesse Jones moved all in for 106,000 from middle position and Eli Loewenthal called from the big blind.

Eli Loewenthal: {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Jesse Jones: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop paired Loewenthal to give him the lead, and that left Jones looking for a paint card. The {5-Spades} turn wasn't what he was looking for but the {j-Diamonds} river was as Jones made a straight to stay alive.

Robert Bowden Eliminated in 16th Place ($6,215)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Robert Bowden
Robert Bowden

DJ Buckley moved all in for 305,000 from early position and Robert Bowden jammed over the top for 372,000 from the small blind, which prompted the big to fold.

Robert Bowden: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
DJ Buckley: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Buckley was in trouble and didn't get any help on the {3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop nor {q-Hearts} turn. Buckley got up as if he was going to leave, but the dealer delivered him a life preserver when the {j-Hearts} spiked on the river.

"It had to be on the river," said Bowden, who was left with just 67,000. He went bust in the next hand.

Nic Getzen

Nic Getzen moved all in for 405,000 from the cutoff and Andrew Moreno three-bet jammed over the top from the small blind, which prompted Trung Le to fold the big.

Nic Getzen: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Andrew Moreno: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

It was a flip but not after the flop fell {9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} to pair Moreno. Getzen asked for his "one time" but it didn't happen as the {3-Hearts} paired the board on the turn followed by the {7-Clubs} on the river.
