Jesse Jones Dispatches Antonio Modacure

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Antonio Modacure
Antonio Modacure

Just before the break, Antonio Modacure got his stack of approximately 120,000 all in preflop against Jesse Jones.

Antonio Modacure: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Jesse Jones: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Modacure was ahead and looking to dodge an ace, but that proved easier said than done as the flop came down {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{a-Hearts} to pair Jones.

That said, Modacure did pick up a heart flush draw, but he would miss as both the {8-Diamonds} turn and {9-Diamonds} river bricked. Modacure finished in 52nd place for $2,682.

Luke Nguyen opened for 24,000 under the gun and three-time WSOP bracelet winner Adam Friedman three-bet to 35,000 next to act.

Action folded back to Nguyen and he four-bet to 185,000, which prompted Friedman to five-bet jam. Nguyen had 510,000 total and called off only to discover he was on the bad end of a cooler.

Adam Friedman: {a-}{a-}
