As the money bubble neared, tournament officials informed players to deal one more hand and stop. During that hand, a couple of players wound up busting to bring the field down to 112 runners. As such, there was no need for hand-for-hand play and no extended money bubble.
The remaining players are guaranteed at least $656 in prize money, but of course everyone have their eyes fixed on the $59,393 first-place prize.

Rob Waterman moved all in for 30,000 under the gun and Bob Chow called from middle position. The player on the button called as well before Nathan Trimble three-bet jammed for 269,000 from the small blind. Chow folded and the bottom followed suit.
"Thanks for the protection," Waterman said.
Rob Waterman:
Nathan Trimble:
Waterman had a kicker problem and it didn't get resolved as the board ran out . With that, Waterman hit the rail in 95th place for $782.

Nathan Trimble opened with a raise from the hijack only to have WSOPC ring winner Bob Chow three-bet jam for 122,000 from the small blind. Trimble called and the hands were turned up.
Bob Chow:
Nathan Trimble:
The flop paired Chow but it also gave Trimble a gutshot Broadway draw. The turn was of no consequence and neither was the river.
Chow doubled on the hand while Trimble was knocked down to 225,000. That said, Trimble was eliminated in unknown action a short time later.
