Small Pot for Justin Gleave

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Justin Gleave
Justin Gleave

The player in the cutoff raised to 3,500 and Justin Gleave opted to defend his big blind.

Both players checked the {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, and then action repeated itself on the {q-Clubs} turn.

When the {j-Hearts} paired the board on the river, Gleave bet 2,800 and that did the trick as his opponent wasted little time in releasing his hand.

Big Slick Does Not Do the Trick for Kevin Meyers

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Kevin Meyers
Kevin Meyers

Action folded to Kevin Meyers in the hijack and he moved all in for approximately 15,000. Michael Degroot called from the button and both blinds got out of the way.

Kevin Meyers: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Michael Degroot: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Meyers was ahead but disaster struck when the flop fell {7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} to pair Degroot. Neither the turn nor river delivered salvation for Meyers, and he bowed out of the tournament.

Vidhi Seem on the Rise

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Vidhi Seem
Vidhi Seem

Vidhi Seem hit a little heater as of late.

First, she sent an opponent to the rail when her pocket kings held against sixes, and not long after she played a big pot that had her knocking at elimination's doorstep.

As she explained, she held {a-}{j-} and went three-way to a flop of {j-}{6-}{10-}. She checked, an opponent moved all in, and the other player in the hand called.

Seem then check-jammed herself and the big-stacked player called. One of her opponents held {q-}{6-} and turned trip sixes, but a jack spiked on the river to keep Seem in the tournament.

Josh Vlahos Adds to Chip Lead

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Josh Vlahos
Josh Vlahos

Josh Vlahos appears to be the chip leader as Level 12 approaches.

In a recent hand, a short-stacked player moved all in and was looked up by Vlahos.

Josh Vlahos: {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The at-risk player was a heavy favorite and paired up on the {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{q-Spades} flop, which also gave Vlahos an up-and-down straight draw.

Well, when you're running good, you are running good. That was evidenced by the {9-Hearts} that spiked on the turn to give Vlahos his straight.

The meaningless {5-Clubs} was run out on the river and Vlahos was pushed the pot.

What Can Valentin Navarro Do?

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Valentin Navarro
Valentin Navarro

The under-the-gun player raised to 6,000 and action folded to the big-stacked Valentin Navarro, who simply moved all in from the small blind. The player in the big called off for 34,000 and the UTG player got out of the way.

Valentin Navarro: {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Small Blind: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Navarro had seemingly been caught with his hand in the cookie jar, though all things considered it was a race.

The {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop gave Navarro a gutshot straight draw, and he managed to hit it when the {9-Diamonds} spiked on the river.

The {q-Hearts} was run out on the river and Navarro collected the pot.

Last Break of the Night

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Players are now on their last 10-minute break of the night. When they return, late registration and re-entries will come to an end. It shouldn't take long to get official numbers after that, so stay tuned.
