Fitzpatrick Dusted by Nick Pupillo

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Nick Pupillo
Nick Pupillo

Action on the table folded around to Jason Fitzpatrick who raised from hijack and Nick Pupillo three-bet from the small blind. The big blind folded, bringing action back to Fitzpatrick who four-bet jammed for 103,000 and Pupillo snap-called.

Nick Pupillo: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Jason Fitzpatrick: {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Fitzpatrick was way behind Pupillo and nothing changed after the {6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop. The {7-Clubs} turn kept Fitzpatrick's hopes alive with a gutshot straight draw but the river came the {a-Clubs} and ended his tournament.

Christiansen Connects With River to Eliminate Opponent

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Scott Christiansen
Scott Christiansen

A player from middle position open-jammed for 18,000 from middle position and Scott Christiansen called from the small blind.

Opponent: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Scott Christiansen: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

It was a classic race with Christiansen looking to connect with either of his two over cards but nothing came on the {3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop.

The {10-Hearts} turn didn't change a thing but luckily for Christiansen, a cowboy fell on the river {k-Clubs} and secured him the pot.

Mike Estes: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Matthew Mich: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Mich Hooks Another

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The player under the gun open-jammed for 95,000 and Matthew Mich called from late position.

Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Matthew Mich: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Mich was ahead with his made hand of jacks and the {k-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop didn't change a thing. The {10-Clubs} turn made things interesting but the {8-Hearts} river secured Mich the pot.

Hartmann Secures Late Night Double

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Tony Hartmann open-jammed for 52,000 from under the gun and Taylor Howard looked him up from the big blind.

Tony Hartmann: {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Taylor Howard: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Hartmann was behind holding live cards and the {j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop made things interesting as it paired Howard's five but it also gave Hartmann an open-ended straight draw.

The {10-Spades} turn didn't complete Hartmann's straight but it did put him in the lead with a pair of tens and the {3-Diamonds} river secured his double-up.
