Klassen's Kings Eliminate Blindert

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Luke Blindert moved all in for about 75,000 and found a three-bet on his left from Kitkat Klassen. The rest of the table folded and the two headed to a runout.

Luke Blindert: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Kitkat Klassen: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Blindert was ace hunting, but the board ran out {j-}{2-}{3-}{4-}{7-} to send Blindert to the payout counter.

Nguyen Holds On a Very Sweaty Runout

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Kevin Nguyen opened to 35,000 from early position. Action folded to Daryl Oppert in middle position who moved all in for about 330,000. Players folded to Nguyen who made the call quickly for 240,000 effective.

Kevin Nguyen: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Daryl Oppert: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The flop brought a sweat on the {2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. Looking to avoid an ace or diamond, the turn and river were the {9-Spades} and {6-Clubs} to give Nguyen the double.

Oppert was left with about six big blinds and was eliminated shortly after.

Wilshire Eliminates Bohn From the Big Blind

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Blake Bohn
Blake Bohn

Blake Bohn moved all in for 118,000 from late position. Action folded to Beau "Don K. Nado" Wilshire in the big blind who thought for a bit.

"It's 118,000," said Bohn. "Soon to be 240,000," he predicted.

"I don't think I can fold," said Wilshire, who made the call.

"You have a king, right?" asked Bohn.

Blake Bohn: {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Beau "Don K. Nado" Wilshire: {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

"Eight five? You can't fold eight five for 100k?" asked Bohn.

Either way, they were off to a runout. The {q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} was safe for Bohn. However, the {5-Clubs} turn vaulted Wilshire into the lead. He stayed there on the {10-Spades} river that sent Bohn to the payout line.

Burbach Holds, Eliminates Barnum

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Justin Barnum opened to 35,000 from the small blind and Loren Burbach made the call in the big.

The flop came out {6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Barnum continued for 55,000. Burbach thought for a bit before moving all in for about 260,000. Barnum made the call for slightly less.

Justin Barnum: {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Loren Burbach: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Essentially a coinflip, Barnum was looking at two overs and an open-ender to keep his tournament alive. Neither came in on the {3-}{a-} runout and Burbach sent Barnum to the rail.

Two Flush Draws Better Than One

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Elizabeth Ethridge opened to 50,000 on the button before Michael Nguyen three-bet all in from the small blind for 255,000. Back on Ethridge, she made the call after some thought.

Michael Nguyen: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Elizabeth Ethridge: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

They both had the same hand, likely heading for a chop.

"Come on black cards," beckoned Nguyen.

The flop gave both players backdoor flush draws on the {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop. Nguyen's was still alive on the {j-Spades} turn. The river did bring the {k-Spades} four-flush board to give Nguyen the pot.
