Day 1b of the 2022 MSPT Venetian Poker Bowl VI $1,100 Main Event Begins at 11:10 a.m.
The 2022 MSPT Venetian Poker Bowl VI $1,100 Main Event continues at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, and Day 1b will begin shortly at 11:10 a.m. local time.
Each player will receive a starting stack of 25,000 chips in exchange for their $1,100 buy-in, and all blind levels will be 40-minutes in length. There will be a 15-minute break at the completion of levels three, six, and twelve. A 60-minute dinner break will occur at the end of level nine, and the registration and re-entry period will end at the conclusion of the dinner break.
This event features a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, and the eventual champion will take home a trophy and gold coin in addition to the top prize.
Play will continue until they are down to approximately 11% of the field, or 15 levels have been played. Players who make it through the day will return at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12th for Day 2, where the remaining players from Day 1a and Day 1b will combine and play until a winner is declared.
On Day 1a, 43 players bagged out of 385 entrants. The biggest stack was bagged by Huy Nguyen, who finished with a solid stack of 640,000 chips. Other notables to make it through the day include reigning MSPT Player of the Year Kyna England (509,000), Jason Wheeler (253,000), Tim Reilly (170,000), and recent MSPT Main Event winner Gianluca Pace (75,000).
