Kim Wins with Aggression

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

There were four players who saw a {9-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} flop for 1,500 a pop and action was checked to Jun Kim who fired out 2,500 from middle position.

All three of Kim's opponent's called bringing action to the {2-Diamonds} turn. Action was once again checked to Kim who upped the action to 15,000 and the price was too steep as he watched his opponents quickly muck their hands.

Kirby Dropped by Weeks

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Matt Kirby
Matt Kirby

Matt Kirby tossed his 4,000 short stack in the middle from under the gun and Ryan Weeks looked him up from the button.

Matt Kirby: {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Ryan Weeks: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Kirby was behind holding live cards but neither came on the {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop.

The {q-Hearts} turn paired Weeks but it also gave Kirby a gut shot straight draw as he needed a jack to stay alive.

Unfortunately for Kirby, the {10-Diamonds} double-paired the board on the river and he made his way to the re-buy desk.

Deuces Are Good for Harrell

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Dan Favreau opened for 2,400 from the hijack and Marc Harrell called from the button.

The {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop saw Favreau continue for 3,000 and Harrell called bringing the {j-Clubs} turn.

Favreau check-called a 6,000 bet from Harrell and the {4-Diamonds} river was checked by both players.

Harrell quickly showed {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and it was good as Favreau tossed his hand into the muck facedown.
