There were three players that saw a flop and action was checked to the cutoff player who fired out a pot sized 5,000 bet.

Sedlak Rivers Better Two Pair, Drops Lehmann

There was heads-up action between Anthony Sedlak from the small blind and Daniel Lehmann from the big blind with a completed board of showing.

Lehmann held one of the larger stacks in the room and was faced with an all in raise from Sedlak who held more chips.

After some careful thought, Lehmann called, and the two players tabled their hands.

Lehmann rolled over for a turned two-pair but it was second best as Sedlak showed for top two-pair to send Lehmann packing.

Bob Moore Wins Seniors Event

While PokerNews is here offering live updates for the $1,100 Main Event, we’d be remiss if we didn’t tell you about some of the side events that have taken place out over the past week for the Winter Poker Classic here at Running Aces Casino.

In Event #4: $250 NLH Seniors, 160 runners created a $32,000 prize pool that was paid out to the top 18 players.

Among those to cash but fall short of the final table were John Gallenberg (10th - $608), Bruce Wolfe (13th - $512), Chii Cheah (15th - $512), and Steven Knish (18th - $448).

In the end, it was Bob Moore who collected every chip in play to capture the MSPT Winter Poker Classic Trophy, along with a $8,640.

Kukowski Can't Hit Live Cards, Dropped by Halata

Gregory Kukowski open-jammed for his last 2,700 and was called by Paula Halata from the cutoff, along with the big blind.

The board was checked to showdown and all three players tabled their hands.

Kukowski rolled over but it was no good as Halata showed to win the pot while the big blind tossed into the muck.

Bekavac Trumps Wright

Erick Wright raised from middle position and then called the 6,000 three-bet four-time MSPT champ Dan Bekavac made from the small blind.

The flop came , Bekavac continued for 9,000 and then called the 50,000 all in raise from Wright.

Bekavac was ahead with bottom pair while Wright held two overs with an open-ended straight draw.

Luckily for Bekavac, neither the turn nor the river improved Wright as he made his exit from the tournament field.
