Morrison Gets a Double; Gives a Double
Hand #1: More than 65,000 was already in the middle with heads-up action between Jim Morrison in the cutoff and an opponent under the gun. The board read and the under-the-gun player had checked to Morrison, who shoved for 50,200. After some deliberation, a call was made.
Jim Morrison:
Opponent:
Morrison's aces were out in front but needed to fade the remaining spades and sevens in the deck. The river fell cleanly in his favor and he scored a full double, with his opponent covering by about 10,000.
Hand #2: On the very next hand, Bruce Carter open-jammed for 22,300 in early position and Morrison called in the hijack. The big blind, who was Morrison's opponent from the previous hand, called all in as well.
Big Blind:
Bruce Carter:
Jim Morrison:
Each player took turns having the best hand through a runout of , with Carter's rivered pair of aces scoring both pots for a full double and then some.

Stewart Rips the Turn
The board read with heads-up action between a player in middle position and Scott Stewart, who was in the hijack. The middle-position player bet 8,700 into a pot that was just greater, and Stewart raised all in for 19,800.
Stewart's opponent began to study him as he sat there calmly. After nearly a minute passed, the player took his cards and gave them to the dealer on his direct right from the one-seat, earning Stewart the pot with his turn shove.

Rieder Rips It In
A player raised to 2,500 under the gun and Andre Rieder called in the hijack. The player on the button also called, taking postflop action three ways.
The flop came and the original opener continuation-bet 3,500. Both Rieder and the player on the button called, bringing the turn . The original raiser checked, putting action onto Rieder, and he put his remaining 19,600 into the pot.
The player on the button folded and then the original raiser thought for close to a minute before following suit, earning Rieder the pot with his turn shove.

"It's a Fair One"
Slater Dean was down to 18,300 and got it all in preflop in the cutoff against Jon Glendinning, who was in the small blind.
Slater Dean:
Jon Glendinning:
"It's a fair one," remarked Dean after seeing he was in a coin-flip situation for his tournament life. When the runout was done, Dean wound up on the wrong end of the flip and was knocked out by Glendinning as a result.
"Good game. Good luck, everybody," Dean added before leaving the tournament area.

Johnson Nearing a Quarter-Million
Peter Johnson was just spotted with a stack close to 240K with less than 10 minutes remaining before the dinner break. He confirmed that he took a chunk of it by eliminating Frederick Rule, who got his ace-queen all in preflop and ran it into Johnson's pocket aces.
Johnson appears to have the largest stack in the room at the present moment, though a ton of poker is left to be played after dinner with six more levels on the docket at 40 minutes apiece.
