Chop Pot for Bjorkman

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action on the table folded around to reigning MSPT Grand Falls Main Event Champ Chad Bjorkman who raised to 1,400 from the cutoff and was called by the small blind player, along with Gerald Cunniff from the big blind.

The {7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop saw action checked to Bjorkman who continued for 2,400 and both his opponents called bringing the {k-Diamonds} turn.

Action was checked to Bjorkman who fired out 5,000 and again he was called by both his opponents. After the {2-Hearts} completed the board on the river, all three players checked to showdown.

Chad Bjorkman: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Small Blind: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Gerald Cunniff: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

All three players paired their ace but Cunniff was out-kicked as the other two chopped the pot.

Lai Doubles With Ladies

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Kane Lai
Kane Lai

Kane Lai was all in preflop for 10,200 from middle position and was called by Dan Bekavac on the button.

Kane Lai: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Dan Bekavac: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

It was a classic race with Lai ahead with his made hand and nothing changed after the {7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop.

The {6-Spades} turn did give Lai a sweat as Bekavac picked-up the nut flush draw and the river did come with a black card but it was the {2-Clubs} that secured Lai's double-up.

Geier Building a Stack

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Scott Geier
Scott Geier

Action on the table quickly folded around to the button button player who raised to 1,500 and only Scott Geier called from the small blind.

The {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop saw Geier lead out for 1,600 only to call the 3,600 raise from his opponent. The {q-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and Geier lead out once again, this time for 4,000.

Geier's opponent looked disgusted tossing {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} into the muck and Geier was nice enough to show they made the correct call {q-}{x-}.

Hitchcock Makes His Move

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

There was three-way action with a {4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades} board showing and 12,000 in the middle when action was checked to Wes Hitchcock who moved all in for 25,500 from late position.

After the button player folded, action was on the small blind player who went deep into the tank. After careful consideration, Hitchcock's opponent folded and he collected the pot.
