Three Players Busted

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Daniel Sepiol was all in from the big blind for 19,800 against a middle-position opener who had 3,000 in front of him. That player tanked awhile then called.

Sepiol: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Opponent: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The {9-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{k-Hearts} board sent Sepiol packing.

"He kept doing it, I was gonna get him sometime," Sepiol's conqueror said.

Nick Marsh was down to about 7,500 when he got all in with {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Another player had him at risk with {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Marsh flopped a king but it was accompanied by an ace and neither player improved any further.

Chad Holloway said he took the majority of Scotter Clark's chips when Holloway's pocket jacks held against pocket nines. Clark got his last crumbs in with {a-}{a-} but they got cracked by a player on his left with {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} who turned a flush.

Three Scalps for Hindman

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
MSPT Riverside Day 1a
MSPT Riverside Day 1a

John Orfanos got his short stack in preflop from under the gun and was called in three spots. On the {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, Todd Sladek was all in from the small blind for about 14,000. Cody Brinn called in middle position, as did Joe Hindman in the cutoff.

On the {6-Spades} turn, Brinn shoved and Hindman instantly called.

Brinn: {a-}{a-}
Hindman: {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Orfanos: {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Sladek: {8-}{5-}

Everyone but Brinn had turned a straight but Hindman's was the nuts. The {3-Spades} river kept him best and he scooped up everyone's stacks.

Phan Out of Shells

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ryan Phan raised to 3,500 on the button after the cutoff limped, and the small blind moved in covering Phan. He thought awhile and opted to call off his 14,000 or so, only to see the bad news.

Phan: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Small blind: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

What he hoped were live suited cards were dominated, and the {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} was a bricktastic board that didn't save him.

Rob Wazwaz Climbing

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jason Ramos opened for 3,000 early, the player on his left called, and Rob Wazwaz made it 10,500 on the button. The big blind cold-called, Ramos folded, and the last player to act called.

On the {6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, action checked to Wazwaz and he quickly moved all in. He had 21,300 but nobody was interested enough to do anything besides toss their cards in right away.
