Today will be everyone’s last chance to move onto Day 2 of the Mid-Stakes Poker Tour $1,100 (1.5M GTD) Main Event, as Day 1d marks the fourth and final Day 1 of the tournament. The field is expected to be the biggest thus far and add to the combined 1,557 entries from Day’s 1a through 1c.
So far, Sean Banahan remains the overall chip leader after bagging an impressive 587,000 on Day 1a. Not too far behind him are Day 1b chip leader Ben Farrell (501,000) and Day 1c chip leader Kyrylo Kobzyev (523,500).
Other notables who have moved onto Day 2 include Nick Pupillo, Shannon Shorr, Aaron Massey, Jared Jaffee, Faraz Jaka, and Jordan Cristsos.
Play is set to begin at 11:10 a.m. local time. Players will begin with 25,000 in chips and levels will be 40-minutes throughout the tournament. Blinds will begin at 100/100 and a big-blind ante will be introduced at the start of level four (100/300/300). Players will get 15-minute breaks at the end of every three levels and a 45-minute dinner break at the end of level nine.
Late registration is available until 6:25 p.m. and players will have the option re-enter an unlimited amount of times before then. Fifteen levels are scheduled to be played, which means action will conclude at around 10:40 p.m. The surviving players will bag and tag their chips and advance to Sunday's Day 2. Play will be nine-handed as tables no longer have dividers on them. Fully vaccinated patrons may choose not to wear a mask.

Three players, including Jesse Sylvia, were in for 1,500 each preflop.
The flop came and Sylvia's opponents in the big blind and hijack checked to him on the button, where he continued for 1,200. The player in the big blind then check-raised to 3,500 and action folded back to Sylvia, who called.
The turn brought the and Sylvia's opponent opted to check, prompting a 5,700 bet from Sylvia.
"No spade....no spade," the player in the big stated as he tossed his hand into the muck.
