Level 1 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

Rui Cao raised to 10,000 from under the gun and he was called by Marius Torbergesen next to act as well as Kenneth Kee on the button.

Kee has 152,000 chips but none of his bullets left on his first buy in of the day.

Torbergesen: {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Leow: {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Torbergesen had both of his opponents covered and while he bricked his double gutter on the {7-Hearts} turn, the {Q-Clubs} gave him a winner. Ivey and Leow fired new bullets while Torbergesen soared to 375,000 or so.

Elton Tsang limped in with {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Gabe Patgorski called in the hijack with {Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Chan Wai Leong raised to 11,000 from the cutoff with {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Paul Phua moved all in on the button with {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}. Action folded back to Chan and he called.

The flop ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} which didn’t help Chan much but the turn was the {Q-Clubs} and the river was the {Q-Hearts} giving him trips and allowing him to take out Phua, who was forced to use a bullet token.

“This game sucks,” Phua said after the hand, laughing.

Ivey Gets Max Value With Pretty Bad Hand

Level 2 : 0/0, 1,000 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Chan Wai Leong raised under the gun and only Phil Ivey called from the button. Chan continued for 15,000 on the {7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{J-Spades} flop and Ivey called.

Chan slowed down on the {K-Diamonds} turn and checked. Ivey threw in a 40,000-bet and Chan paused before calling.

The river came {7-Hearts} and Chan checked again. Ivey took all of his chips and pushed them across the betting line. Chan fell into a tank-mode and eventually called.

Ivey smiled and showed {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}, perhaps thinking that he was caught. But Chan mucked his to the surprise of the table. "Really?" Elton Tsang asked.

Just like that, Ivey managed to cross 400,000 in chips while Chan had to reload.
