Tom Dwan Bubbles

Level 12 : 0/0, 15,000 ante
Tom Dwan
Tom Dwan

After coming back from the break, the two outer tables created action.

Marius Torbergsen opened to 210,000 and was called by Wai Leong Chan in the hijack and Paul Phua in the cutoff. The flop fell {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and all three players checked. On the {9-Diamonds} turn, Torbergsen bet 400,000 and both opponents folded.

One table over the flop showed {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and there were 310,000 in the middle. Jason Koon moved all in first to act and Tom Dwan called all in from the button for around 1.7 million. Once the other tables were finished, they turned over the cards.

Tom Dwan: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Jason Koon: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

The {7-Clubs} turn and {8-Clubs} river changed nothing whatsoever and Dwan bubbled. There will now be a redraw for the last two tables.

Hau Lim Chan Eliminated in 12th Place (HKD2,227,400/$283,748)

The run of Jason Koon continued as he dragged in yet another monster pot, claiming his next victim and moving his stack up to massive 11 million.

Over on the outer table the board showed {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and that's when Hau Lim Chan got his stack in against Koon, who snapped him off.

Hau Lim Chan: {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Jason Koon: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The straight over straight setup — the ace plays as a five — left Chan with just a ten for the chop, but the blank {Q-Diamonds} on the river sent him to the rail in 12th place for HKD2,227,400($283,748)

Level 12 : 0/0, 15,000 ante

Devan Tang raised to 120,000 with the {K-Clubs}{10-Spades} and so did Rui Cao with {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} and Sean Dempsey with the {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. Paul Phua moved all in for 1,228,000 with the {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} and just Cao called.

The board came {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Phua doubled to see yet another big chunk out of Cao's stack vanish in quick succession.

Small Pot for Koon

Level 12 : 0/0, 15,000 ante

Jason Koon has dropped some of his profit on the outer table but remains the commanding chip leader. In the most recent limped pot to the {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop, Devan Tang limped first to act as did Winfred Yu from one seat over.

Koon bet 65,000 and just Yu called. After the {A-Diamonds} turn, Yu checked and folded to a bet of 225,000.

Koon Takes from Yu

Level 12 : 0/0, 15,000 ante

Winfred Yu raised to 200,000 and was called by Jason Koon from one seat over. The flop fell {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and both players checked. On the {J-Hearts} turn, Yu bet 200,000 and Koon called.

The duo checked the {K-Spades} river and Koon said "I am pretty sure I hate this river card" before checking behind. Yu rolled over {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Koon had that beat with the {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}.
