Kenney Takes Two

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Bryn Kenney - Dietrich Fast
Bryn Kenney - Dietrich Fast

An absolutely huge hand has gone down over on the feature table that cost both Paul Phua and Wai Kin Yong their tournament lives and saw Bryn Kenney shoot up near the top of the chip counts.

It was Kenney who was the instigator of all the carnage, opening the action to from the hi-jack 22,000, Phua flat called from the small blind and Wai Kin Yong moved all-in from the big blind for 266,000.

The action was back on Kenney, who re-shoved for 637,000 and as one of the shorter stacks with 166,000, Phua decided he was getting a good price to take a gamble and made the call also.

Bryn Kenney: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Wai Kin Yong: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Paul Phua: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades} to give Kenney the monster pot and shoot him up to 1,076,000, while both Phua and Yong headed to the registration area to buy back in.

Sun Busts Antonius in Two Hands

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Patrik Antonius
Patrik Antonius

A flopped set of nines was not good enough for Patrik Antonius, as Yaqi Sun turned a flush with the {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} on a board of {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

Just one hand later, Antonius was all in for 19,000 and Sun reraised to 30,000 to force out everyone else.

Patrik Antonius: {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Yaqi Sun: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

The board came {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and that was it for the Finn for now, but he can still re-enter until the start of the next level.

Yewei Wu got his stack in with the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and Marius Torbergsen looked him up with the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} to see the board run out {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Last but not least, Peter Jetten busted to Jason Koon, re-entered and was re-seated right next to his previous nemesis.

Andrew Robl
Andrew Robl

Koray Aldemir lost a flip, and it was no surprise to see him bust with ace-king once more, this time to the pocket fives of Christian Christner. Dan Cates also disappeared from the very same table while Mikita Badziakouski boosted his stack further.

Phil Ivey re-entered while Ivan Leow and Andrew Robl entered for the first time.

Last but not least, Yaqi Sun called a bet of 57,000 by Chan Wai Leong on the button with the turn reading {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. The {6-Clubs} river was checked and Sun showed {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, which ended up winning the pot.

One hand later, Julian Thomas raised to 22,000 and Rui Cao called on the button. Sun three-bet to 80,000 out of the small blind and forced two folds.
