Patrice Brandt raised to 250,000 from under the gun and Alessandro Spina called in the small blind.

"Aces?", asked Brandt.

Both players had paired their ace and Brandt was ahead with the king kicker. The turn came the 6♦ and the river was the 4♥. Brandt held to win the pot, leaving Spina with less than two big blinds.

Hand 2

Spina was all in for 140,000 and was called by Nial Murray in the small blind and Brandt in the big blind. Players then checked down the side pot on a board of 10♥9♥7♦K♣7♠.

Brandt showed J♣5♠, Spina showed 10♠8♣ for a pair of tens, and Murray showed K♥4♣ for a pair of kings to win the pot.

Spina was eliminated from the tournament in 10th place for £14,350.
