Double Stack and a Banana for Auke Attema

Level 3 : 150/300, 50 ante

Auke Attema is celebrating a double up by eating a banana, and why not? His biggest hand of the day recently came at the expense of Francesco Caballopena, when Caballopena raised from early position before Attema three-bet to 1,600 on the button. Caballopena opted to call.

Caballopena led the action with a bet of 1,000 on a {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-} flop. Attema raised to 3,300, and Caballopena called. Caballopena then checked on the {7-Diamonds} turn and called Attema's bet of 4,400.

The {A-Hearts} hit the river, and Caballopena attempted an all-in bet for his remaining 11,000 in chips. Attena tanked for several minutes before making the call with {Q-}{Q-}. Caballopena showed a missed flush draw holding the {5-Spades}{3-Spades} and became the fourth person to exit the tournament.

Also to exit the tournament recently were Byron Bernstein and Kahjuria Chandrakant.

Both players checked when the {k-Diamonds} appeared on the turn, and the {A-Diamonds} landed on the river. Van den Berg tanked for a short moved, then overbet the pot with a 12,400-chip bet. Saout gave up and folded his hand.
