With the end of the dinner break, Day 1b is closed to registration. It ended with 134 total entries, and as Level 7 begins there are 87 stacks still in play. Added to the 83 entries from Day 1a, and the total field now sits at 217 with the turbo Day 1c yet to run.
The prize pool currently sits at €217,000, but that's sure to grow quite a bit once Day 1c begins. Stay tuned ... by the end of the night, the full field for Day 2 will be set.
The satellite side event has just concluded with 9 players surviving to win a ticket to Day 1c starting in just under an hour.

Its not just normal poker happening tonight at the Bonnington Hotel, as they've started "Flipping Out." There's cash up for grabs as each entry pays €25 + €5, to play the first round of an 8-handed flip table. Further rounds and payouts depend on total entries, but no matter what happens, the noise from that end of the room is deafening as everyone involved is clearly having fun.
It folded to Padraig O'Neill in the small blind, and he limped. Samuel Baneham checked his option from the big, and the flop came . O'Neill check-called the bet of 1,600 after a bit of a tank.
Both players checked the turn and river, and Baneham mucked his hand when he saw in O'Neill's hand.

The final chance to book a seat in Day just put cards in the air. There are 36 entries to start, and while they start with the same 30,000 chips as Days 1a and 1b, they'll use those chips in 20 minute levels instead of the one hour levels of the previous days. The field in Day 1c has also pushed the prize pool over the €250,000 guarantee. Currently, there is €253,000 in the pool, but that will only grow as Day 1c fills up.
The Flipout event is still going strong, with 11 starting rounds so far. That puts more the €2,000 into the pool for the winner-takes-all event. The final field is still being set as they are still looking for a 12th round.
