Daigle Empties the Clip

Level 6 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

After six players saw a {4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop, Shawn Daigle bet 47,000 into a pot of 110,000 getting a call from just one of his opponents. Daigle fired again when the {8-Spades} fell on the turn and his opponent check-called once-more, this time for 103,000.

The {j-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and after another check in front of him, Daigle emptied the clip, moving all-in. His opponent folded quickly and Daigle raked in the pot.

Sides Doubles and Busts Hamelin

Level 6 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On a board reading {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} Daniel Hamelin was all-in from the big blind as was Darrin Oremba in middle position and Felix Sides on the button.

Daniel Hamelin: {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Felix Sides: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Darrin Oremba: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Hamelin had a pair of tens, Sides had a set of eights and Oremba had a pair of queens. The turn was the {5-Spades} and Hamelin was drawing dead to the {4-Hearts} on the river. Oremba couldn't find the last queen in the deck so Sides doubled through him and eliminated Hamelin for his last 265,000.

Pelletier Can't Get One Past Jacques

Level 6 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A big pot was brewing over on Table 33 with 700,000 in the pot by the river on a board reading {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

Andrew Pelletier was in middle position and decided to lead for 132,000. Vincent Jacques was on the button and looked like he was in agony. He cut his chips out but was visibly torn by the decision. Eventually, he called.

Pelletier did not look too happy as he tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a pair of sixes. Jacques looked relieved and tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for a pair of nines to scoop the big pot.

Set Over Set, Lamia Benefits

Level 6 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Roger Lamia moved all-in on the river for just over 600,000 on a {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} board. The pot was already worth about 350,000 and Lamia was heads-up with Armenak Kizirian. Kizirian was in some discomfort and for good reason.

Lamia had Kizirian covered so a call would put Kizirian at risk. He would eventually call and Lamia showed him the bad news. Lamia tabled {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and all Kizirian could do was raise his hands in agony as he tabled {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

Huge Cooler Propels Paulin

Level 7 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Pierre Paul Paulin
Pierre Paul Paulin

Pierre Paul Paulin has scored a huge double up after a sick cooler against Diana Shamshoum. We missed the action but witnessed the aftermath.

The board read {4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Paulin's remaining stack of 1,278,000 was being cut down and Shamshoum was forced to match it. Laying in front of Paulin was {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} and according to the table talk, all the money went in on the flop and Shamshoum lost with pocket queens.

Paulin is now among the top counts in the room.
