The $5,400 No-Limit Tournament ended last night and Marc Etienne Mclaughlin won $76,830 after outlasting 43 other players. The tournament was supposed to continue today, but despite the deep structure the tournament ended last night and McLuaghlin was able to play Day 1b of the CPPT.
Samuel Chartier is in the field today as he was yesterday. Today he has managed to work his stack to over 100,000 and is looking to make a run into Day 2 and possibly further.
He have five $20,000+ cashes so far in 2016 and would likely need a final table in this event to earn his sixth.
Here are the big stacks around the room with three levels left. Sofian Boulila leads the way, but has some work to do if he wants to Jean Sebastien Dubois who finished Day 1a with over 400,000.
The three players atop the Tournament leaderboard standings have all busted. Charles La Boissonniere leads, but Joey Boczek is in the $110 Shootout event and has a chance to close the gap and possibly overtake La Boissonniere with a win.
