Quads for Lindeblad

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The four-way flop of {10-Hearts} {J-Spades} {J-Hearts} flop got checked through and on the {5-Clubs} turn there was a bet of 4,600 and the call from Kahle Burns. Stephen Lindeblad moved all in for 55,000 and Shisheng Chen called all in for less from one seat over. Both other opponents folded their cards. Showdown:

Lindeblad: {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}
Cheng: {10-Clubs} {10-Spades}

You could hear a loud "ohhhhhh" from the rail when the {J-Spades} on the river gave Lindeblad quads and sent Cheng to the rail. Almost at the same time, Peter Longmore was also eliminated through unknown action on another table.

The Toothpick Fairy is Over

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Tony Kambouroglou
Tony Kambouroglou

Tony Kambouroglou open-shoved for 22,000 from early position and Bruno Portaro called from the button the two players in the blinds folded.

Kambouroglou: {10-Spades} {10-Hearts}
Portaro: {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}

A classic coin flip would decide over the fate of Tony "Toothpick" and the {A-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {3-Clubs} flop immediately improved the hand of Portaro. After the {6-Clubs} turn, only the two remaining tens were of help to the local hero and he shook hands with his opponent after the {3-Spades} put an end to his tournament in 32nd place.

We Lose Dan Heimiller

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Dan Heimiller
Dan Heimiller

It was pretty much a deja vu from what we just witnessed. Dan Heimiller open-shoved for 20,100 from the button and Piyush Gupta one seat over made the call whereas Jamie Pickering folded the big blind.

Heimiller: {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts}
Gupta: {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}

The dealer had no heart for Heimiller except on the river of a {10-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {J-Clubs} {2-Hearts} board. "Ah well. Where is the money?" Heimiller said before heading to the floorman and pick up his payout.

Oh my God, did I Win?

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Bruno Portaro and Zane Ly clashed and Ly was all in for his last 28,100 chips with {A-Hearts} {8-Spades}. Portaro had {A-Spades} {7-Spades} and Ly asked the dealer "can we chop it now already?" The whole table sighed on the {10-Spades} {4-Hearts} {K-Spades} flop, as Portaro now had a flush draw. However, the {Q-Hearts} turn and the {6-Clubs} were two blanks and the tiny difference in the kickers indeed played a vital role.

"Oh my god, did I win?" asked a surprised Ly and indeed he did.

Danzer Doubles Through Madsen

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On the {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop, George Danzer checked over to three-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Jeff Madsen. Madsen put out a bet of 5,100, and Danzer went into the tank. Eventually, Danzer shoved for 18,600, and Madsen called it off quickly.

Madsen had flopped top pair with the {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Danzer was on a draw with the {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and looking for a heart.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds}, but the river delivered the {A-Hearts} to give Danzer the double up.
