donpeters • Level 19: 4,000-8,000, 1,000 ante
Brian McAllister - 7th Place

Hand #17: Didier Guerin began the hand with the button, and he opened to 17,000. Ryan Hong was in the small blind, and three-bet to 46,000. Guerin gave it up, and Hong won the pot.

Hand #18: Hong had the button, and he limped in after play folded to him. Zane Ly called from the small blind, and then Brian McAllister checked out of the big blind to see the flop come down {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Everyone checked, and the {5-Hearts} paired the board on the turn. Ly bet 12,000, McAllister folded, as did Hong, and Ly won the pot.

Hand #19: Ly had the button to start this one. Hong kept up his active ways and opened to 16,000. Daniel Murphy called from the big blind, and the flop came down {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. After Murphy checked, Hong bet 18,000. Murphy folded, and Hong won the pot.

Hand #20: The button was on McAllister to start this hand, and Guerin opened to 17,000 from middle position. Play then moved to the button, and McAllister reraised to 40,000. Guerin moved all, and McAllister quickly called to put himself at risk.

McAllister was all in with the {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and up against Guerin's {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}.

The {7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop made things very, very interesting. Although McAllister's two jacks stayed in the lead as the best hand, he had to dodge any ace, king, or club from here on out.

The dealer made quick work of the sweat and landed the {A-Hearts} on the turn to put Guerin in front. The {9-Hearts} completed the board on the river, and McAllister was out the door in seventh place.
