The next prestigious title is set to be decided at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise, as the remaining 15 contenders return to battle for glory in Event #5: $250,000 Triton Invitational.

Action will resume at Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas at 1:00 p.m. local time, with Kayhan Mokri sitting on a dominant chip lead after bagging a stack of 9,245,000. That represents 92 big blinds, and nearly a quarter of chips in play at the final two tables.

Leading the chase group are Jonathan Jaffe (4,450,000) and Thomas Boivin (3,080,000), who round out the top three stacks entering the final day.

The invitation-only tournament saw a total of 133 entries, creating a massive prize pool of $33,250,000. Tonight's champion will earn the coveted double result, taking home the Triton trophy along with a WSOP gold bracelet.

While many Triton invitees remain in contention, several pros also advanced to Day 3. Among them is the reigning champion of this event, as Alejandro Lococo (1,485,000) sits toward the bottom of the counts in his bid for a repeat performance after claiming the Triton Million invitational tournament last year in Paradise.

Other WSOP bracelet winners still in the mix include Sergio Aido (3,055,000), Philip Sternheimer (2,040,000), and Mikita Badziakouski (1,920,000).

The final hand of Day 2 left Joao Simao (50,000) as the short stack, bagging up less than a single big blind. Simao and the rest of the returning players have locked up at least $515,000, with the top prize of $7,725,000 firmly in everyone's sights.
