Welcome to the Table

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Vladimir Velikov opened and then called the all in of Vladimir Troyanovskiy for 59,500, turning over {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}. His opponent from Russia had that crushed with {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} and Troyanovskiy doubled up with the board running out {10-Clubs} {K-Spades} {7-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {2-Spades}. Alexander Lakhov joked to his countryman "welcome to the table" before the next hand was dealt.

Berger Finds Pocket Aces

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Seth Berger patiently waited for a spot to double up his short stack and was all in for 31,500 from early position. Alexander Lakhov called from one seat over and the other opponents folded. Berger turned over {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} and is the second short stack on his table to double up with the best starting hand in Texas Hold'em in the past 20 minutes.

Lakhov had two outs with {4-Spades} {4-Clubs} but the board ran out {K-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {3-Clubs} to let the American breathe for a while.

An Ace from Space for Naydenov

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Simeon Naydenov raised and four players called to see the flop of {9-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {2-Spades}. Naydenov made the continuation bet and only Luca Faggioli called to see the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. Naydenov moved all in with {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} and Faggioli called with pocket queens.
