Welcome to Day 1A of the 2014 partypoker WPT National Prague

Back in Season 10, the World Poker Tour first visited the King's Casino in Prague and Andrey Pateychuk of Russia defeated a 571-strong field to engrave his name into the WPT history books and also take home €450,000 in cash. One year later in Season 11 it was Marcin Wydrowski of Poland who emerged victorious for €318,295 after defeating 566 opponents. In 2013, the festival moved to the Card Casino Prague and Julian Thomas of Germany topped a field of 306 for a payday of €206,230.

Fast forward one year, the WPT now returns to the Corinthia Hotel for Season 13 and hosts the 2014 partypoker WPT National Prague with two starting days on December 4th and 5th. One optional re-entry in total is available for the €1,800 + €200 Main Event and this can either be taken on the same day still, the next starting day or even until the end of the first level on Day 2. Late registration as well as re-entry is available during that time frame.

All participants receive 30,000 in chips as starting stack and the levels last 60 minutes each, action for Day 1A will get underway at 13:00 CET. The Main Event concludes on Sunday December 7th 2014 and the PokerNews live reporting team will bring you all crucial hands from the start and until the winner is crowned.
