Day 4 of the 2015 partypoker World Poker Tour Canadian Spring Championship Starts Now!

Samuel Bisrat Tsehai

The fourth day of the 2015 partypoker World Poker Tour Canadian Spring Championship at PlayGround Poker Club in Montreal, Quebec is set to begin with just 15 players remaining at 12 p.m. local time.

They will play down to the six-player final table today with Canadian Samuel Tsehai coming in holding the lead.

A 25th-place finish at WPT Montreal in 2013 and a 70th at the 2015 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure main event are Tsehai's biggest poker accomplishments so far, but he can better both by locking up a seat in the final today.

He will come into play with a little over 1.5 million and a host of dangerous characters breathing down his neck.

2014 WPT Montreal 10th-place finisher Sheraz Nasir and fellow Canadian Trevor Delaney are the only other players with more than one million in chips, but 2015 WPT Fallsview ninth-place finisher Lu Zhang, Montreal local and 2014 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown champ Eric Afriat, and Aussie online star and two-time APPT title holder Jonathan Karamalikis are close.

Plus WSOP Bracelet winner Pascal LeFrancois, 2014 WPT Johannesburg champ Dylan Wilkerson, 2012 WPT Montreal third-place finisher Jeff Gross and partypoker qualifier Edmund Campion are still in the mix.

All 15 players are still in with a shot at the $237,390 first-place prize and a seat in the WPT Season XIV World Championship and come in guaranteed $14,130 CAD in 15th place money.

The PokerNews Live Reporting team will be on hand for all the action with live updates and videos throughout, so keep it locked right here.

Edmund Campion Eliminated in 15th Place ($14,130 CAD)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Edmund Campion
Edmund Campion

Edmund Campion got in this event for $20 on partypoker. He tried to register for a $20 sit and go tournament on the site but mis-clicked his way into a steps qualifier for the 2015 partypoker WPT Canadian Spring Championship.

A win and a few steps later he was off to Montreal and has now turned that $20 into $14,130 CAD and a pretty nice vacation.

The Irishman doubled up Jeff Gross getting it in with {A-}{Q-} versus Gross' {K-}{9-} but Gross made two pair.

A few hands later Campion was all in ahead against chip leader Samuel Tsehai with {A-}{J-} versus {J-}{10-}, but the {J-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} made Tsehai two pair to send Campion out into the Montreal sunshine with a nice payday, huge ROI and a great story.

Campion told his whole story to PokerNews' Caitlyn Howe in the following video interview:

Zhang Rides Again

Lu Zhang
Lu Zhang

Lu Zhang has moved up to the top of the chip counts now after dragging a pot worth close to one-million chips.

She made a straight against Trevor Delaney's two pair and got paid with a big river raise to take it down.

Zhang is now closing in on the two-million chip mark.

Eric Afriat Eliminated in 14th Place ($14,130 CAD)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Eric Afriat
Eric Afriat

Eric Afriat called off most of his chips with {A-}{J-} against a Senthuran Vijayaratnam shove.

Vijayaratnam held tens and tens held to leave Afriat with just a few chips and a chair. He more than tripled up from 6,000 the very next hand, then skipped a couple of hands, before getting all in behind from the big blind after a Robert Taylor raise with {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} versus {A-Spades}{4-Spades}.

This time he made two pair to double back to some 60,000.

However, in a battle of the blinds with Gary Lucci second later, he got it in again with {9-Spades}{8-Spades} versus Lucci's {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

Lucci hit a six to send him hone 14th just minutes before the end of the level.

Jeff Gross Eliminated in 13th Place ($14,130 CAD)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Jeff Gross

There won't be another final table appearance at the Playground Poker Club for Jeff Gross this time around.

The 2013 WPT Montreal third-place finisher is out 13th after running {a-}{9-} into Trevor Delaney's pocket jacks and failing to improve.

The always affable Gross spoke with PokerNews' Caitlyn Howe yesterday. Check out the video evidence below:

Samuel Tsehai Eliminated in 12th Pace ($17,290 CAD)

Samuel Tsehai is out and Lu Zhang is now contending for top spot on the chip count board with 11 left.

The overnight chip leader got it all in with {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} on the turn of a {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board.

However, Zhang had {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and it held following the {5-Spades} river.

John Krpan Eliminated in 11th Place ($17,290 CAD)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
John Krpan
John Krpan

John Krpan got his short stack all in preflop against both Pascal LeFrancois and Robert Taylor.

On the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop, LeFrancois pushed Taylor off with a bet. Krpan showed {k-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, but LeFrancois had flopped the joint with {6-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

The {5-Spades} turn and {10-Clubs} river did little for Krpan and as he exited 11th, they are redrawing for seats at the unofficial final table of ten.

In the last hand before the break, Senthuran Vijayaratnam defended his big blind with {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} against a Robert Taylor raise.

Vijayaratnam flopped two pair on a {6-}{6-}{5-} board, then turned a boat when another five came. The river brought a king, Vijayaratnam shipped it in and Taylor called off his remaining chips with big slick to go broke.

After a couple of raises back and forth, Senthuran Vijayaratnam four-bet shoved and Trevor Delaney called to create a massive pot with Vijayaratnam on {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Delaney holding {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades} and a Delaney boat sank Vijayaratnam's hopes.
