Iaron Lightbourne secured the largest payday of his career on Sunday when he won the 2015 partypoker World Poker Tour UK Main Event for £200,000. Lightbourne outlasted a field of 450 players, including his heads-up opponent, Craig McCorkell, to get his hands on the winner’s trophy.

The six-handed final table commenced at 2 p.m. local time on Sunday afternoon with each of the remaining players guaranteed at least £40,000. This was the amount that Chi Zhang won after he moved all in for 10 big blinds with the {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Fraser Bellamy called from the small blind with the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. No queen or ten appeared on the [3hc7dJd6c] board, and Zhang busted in sixth place.

Two hours later, Simon Betts busted at the hands of McCorkell.

Betts min-raised to 160,000 on the button and was called by Bellamy and McCorkell from the two blinds. An all-heart flop read {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and action was checked around by all three payers before Bellamy led for 275,000 after the {9-Clubs} hit the turn. Both McCorkell and Betts called. The river was the {2-Clubs}, Bellamy checked, McCorkell bet 760,000, and Betts called all in. After Bellamy folded, Betts showed the {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a straight and lost to McCorkell’s {K-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a flush.

Andrew Seden was the next to fall. Seden raised to 220,000 and then pushed all in when Bellamy three-bet to 525,000. Bellamy called with the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and those ladies beat the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} in Seden’s hand when the five community cards fell {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

Three-handed play lasted another hour and ended with the exit of Bellamy. Lightbourne raised on the button to 250,000 and called when Bellamy reraised all in for around 2 million. Bellamy’s {Q-Spades}{7-Spades} needed some help to beat Lightbourne’s {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}, and it failed to arrive as the dealer ran out the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{a-Hearts} board to send Bellamy home in third place.

Heads-up play lasted four hands, with the fourth and final hand seeing all of the chips go into the middle preflop. McCorkell held the {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, and Lightbourne had the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}. The final board read {5-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, and McCorkell was eliminated in second place, leaving Lightbourne to become the latest in a long line of WPT champions.

Andrew Seden opened to 220,000 and was three-bet to 525,000 by Fraser Bellamy. Seden moved all-in and Bellamy instantly called.

Seden showed {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and was way behind Bellamy's {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Spades} flop improved Bellamy to a set but gave Seden outs to a straight. The {2-Clubs} turn didn't alter anything and neither did the {4-Hearts} river, which sent Seden to the sidelines.

Russell Betts' tournament is over, his superb run coming to an end in fifth place, a finish worth £50,000.

Betts raised to 160,000 from the button, Fraser Bellamy called in the small blind and Craig McCorkell put in the extra chips from the big blind. An all-heart {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} fop saw all three players check.

Bellamy led for 275,000 and both McCorkell and Betts called on the {9-Clubs} turn before Bellamy checked the {2-Clubs} river. MCorkell pushed a bet of 760,000 across the line and Betts called; Bellamy folded.

Betts flipped over {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a straight, but McCorkell had flopped a flush with his {K-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. A quick count of the stacks confirmed Betts had bust and only four players remain in contention for the £200,000 first place prize.

Chi Zhang's run in the WPT UK Main Event is over, busting at the hands of Fraser Bellamy.

Zhang moved all-in for around 500,000 chips with {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} under the gun and Bellamy called out of the small blind with {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.
