Harry Lodge and Richard Gryko have just clashed in what could have been a monster pot after Gryko put his opponent to the test for his entire stack.
A preflop war had broken out that saw Gryko with 1,925 in front of him from the hijack and Lodge had raised to 5,000. Gryko then made it 9,350 to go and Lodge called. The delaer spread the flop, Gryko pushed all-in and Lodge instantly folded.
Marcel Luske has to reenter on Day 1b if he wants to add the 2015 WPT UK Main Event title to his already impressive list of poker accomplishments. The Flying Dutchman came unstuck when his ran into of Richard Gryko with the chip going in on the turn of the board. No full house on the river for Luske and he bust.

Yucel Eminoglu is affectionately known as "The Mad Turk" thanks to his crazy style of play, but he showed some restraint in a hand with Min Ju.
Ji limped in from the button, Richard Hawes folded but Eminoglu raised to 2,600 in the big blind. Ji called after asking how many chips Eminoglu had behind (approx. 11,000).
Eminoglu check-called a 1,500 bet on the flop before both players checked the river. Eminolgu checked the river and folded whe Ji set The Mad Turk all-in for his tournament life.

The original plan to play nine 60-minute levels has been scrapped with the decision made to play an extra level on Day 1a. This, of course, will be mirrored on Day 1b.
Fabio Esposito has bust during Level 7 after a clash with Karol Radomski didn't go to plan. The chips went in preflop, Esposito's hopes were pinned on the and he needed some help as Radomski held the slightly superor .
Radomski's grip on the hand tightened on the flop, further still on the and he locked up the hand on the river.
