Huang Sends the Chips and Time Banks Flying

Level 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Ming Huang pushed all-in for 72,000 in the cutoff and was snapped off by Chengcai Pan in the big blind, who flipped over his AA. Huang grabbed his time bank cards and smacked them down towards the middle of the table while already walking away from the table, having exposed the Q7.

The Q858A board gave Pan aces full for the knockout in style.

Bayda Out Before the Money

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Linh Nguyen moved all-in from under the gun for 69,000 and Taras Bayda was in the big blind with very few chips behind.

"Sixty nine was my table number yesterday," he said and then called all-in without looking at his cards three spots away from the money.

Taras Bayda: 54 All in
Linh Nguyen: A10

The board ran out 964J3 and Nguyen rivered the flush to score the knockout.

Big Double for Liu on the Bubble

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

On the stone bubble, Haoran Sun applied pressure with his large stack and clashed against Taiwan's Che-Lun Liu when the latter was all-in from the button for more than 200,000 on the K963 turn.

Che-Lun Liu: 99 All in
Haoran Sun: KQ

The 6 river was already meaningless as Liu's set had locked up the big double.

The Money Bubble Has Been Reached

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Ilias Aliev was eliminated and several other tables were still going on when the floor announced that the action was to be stopped for the money bubble.

Jong Hyun Song earned a double during that time against Zhjiyi Feng when he held up with 99 versus AJ on a board of QQ1026 for his last 85,000.

Naing Doubles on the Bubble

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

David Chidraoui was literally and figuratively sweating when he had only 12,000 left and folded while Khant Naing was all-in from under the gun for fewer than eight blinds, looked up by Jugal Java in the big blind.

Khant Naing: KQ All in
Jugal Java: A3

The board ran out Q94610 and Naing doubled on the bubble, having come into the day with a very short stack.

The cards were flipped over already and then turned back when Jong Hyun Song had jammed the AK88 turn and was snapped off by Haoran Sun, as not all other tables had completed their hands.

In the meanwhile, Guillem Segarra already said that Song was drawing dead since he and another player had folded an ace after seeing the showdown cards. When it was then time to proceed, the following cards were exposed.

Jong Hyun Song: AJ All in
Haoran Sun: 98

The turned trips of Sun locked up the elimination prior to the 10 river to let the Day 1b bubble burst. David Chidraoui then lost his marbles two tables over after he had locked up the min-cash with a fraction of a big blind.
