The Accidental Chip

John Racener throws out 2,200 - and then tries to grab a 1,000 chip, as it goes out into the betting area inadvertently. The dealer correctly rules that he has to leave it out. "Is that a 2,200 hand or a 1,200 hand?" his opponent drawls. After a long while of staring, the opponent shoves and Racener lays it down.

Adam Friedman Takes Big Hit

Adam Friedman raises to 1,100 and the big blind calls. The flop is K-J-3 and Friedman checks. The opponent bets 2,100 and Friedman doubles it to 4,200. The opponent is all in and Friedman jumps out of his chair, calling with {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. The opponent turns over A-A. The turn and river are catastrophic: 10-10, and Friedman is down to 13,000 in chips.

Split Hand #1

On a flop of {10-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, two players check. Adam Friedman bets 1,000 and two players call. The turn is the {K-Spades}. The first player bets 3,200 and the second player folds. Friedman calls. The river is the {Q-Spades}. Both check. Friedman has {A-Spades}{8-Spades} to {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for the opponent, and they split.

Split Hand #2

Five players limp into a flop of {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Philip Sparta checks and Jason Glass bets 15,000. An opponent calls, another opponent folds, yet another opponent calls and Sparta folds. The turn is the {7-Spades} and everyone checks. The river is the {Q-Hearts} and Glass bets 2,500. One opponent calls with {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} to Glass's {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a split pot.

Adam Again

A player makes it 1,200 and another player calls. Adam Friedman bumps it to 5,000 and the first player folds. The caller puts Friedman all in for his last 4,000 and Friedman calls with Q-Q. The opponent turns over A-A. The board is 10-9-5-K-Q and Friedman cracks aces, doubling up in the process.
