WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Hammond, Start of Day 2

The staff has just announced 'Shuffle Up and Deal' here at the Horseshoe Hammond and the 40 remaining players, including Dustin "Neverwin" Woolf and Steve "mrsmokey1" Billirakis, are being dealt cards. We'll be playing down to 9 players today. Keep it right here!

Neverwin Off to Fast Start

Dustin "Neverwin" Woolf has jumped out of the gate quickly today. With the board reading {Q-Spades} {9-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {K-Clubs}, James Hall moved all in and Woolf insta-called with {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs} for the nut flush. Hall mucked and headed to the rail.

Dustin Woolf now has about 200,000.

Jason DeWitt Chipping Up...Brett Richey Eliminated

Jason DeWitt has just eliminated players on consecutive hands.

First, he held {Q-Hearts} {6-Hearts} against Ralph Massey's {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} and short stack. The board ran out {K-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {2-Spades} as Massey proclaimed "Ship it," while missing that DeWitt had made a straight.

On the next hand, Domenico Caprara moved all in from middle position for 25,000 and DeWitt called on the button. Brett Richey then moved all in from the big blind for 39,700 more, and DeWitt called after taking a minute to think.

The hands were:

Caprara: {K-Spades} {Q-Clubs}
DeWitt: {10-Spades} {10-Hearts}
Richey: {8-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}

The board came {J-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {K-Diamonds}, with DeWitt winning the side pot, Caprara winning the main pot, and Richey was sent to the rail.

DeWitt now sits with 340,000 and Caprara is up to almost 85,000.

There are 32 players remaining. At 27 players, the players will redraw for seats and relocate to the three-table main stage area.

Faraz Jaka Doubles

Andy Seth raises preflop and Faraz Jaka is all in over the top for 30,100. Andy calls with {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Faraz has {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}. The board is {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Faraz doubles to 79,000. Andy is left with 39,500.

Play Tightens

As we approach the final 3 tables, play has slowed down considerably. The remaining players are treading carefully as they get closer to the money.
