Stout Increases His Lead

Matt Stout just picked up a nice pot to add some chips to his field-leading stack. He opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 5,000. A player in middle position called and then Steven Burkholder called from the big blind. The three of them saw a flop of {Q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

Burkholder was first up and checked. Stout fired 11,000 and the next player folded. Burkholder made the call.

After the turn put the {A-Spades} out there, Burkholder check-folded to a bet from Stout. Stout's now on 280,000 chips.
