Too Many Outs for Jacobs

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On a {5-Spades} {J-Spades} {8-Hearts} flop, Jeremiah Vinsant got all 42,100 of his chips into the middle with {10-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}. He was the one doing the shoving, and Lawrence Jacobs made the call with {6-Spades} {7-Spades} and chips to chase his big draw.

The turn {3-Hearts} was a blank to keep Vinsant in the lead, and the river {Q-Hearts} secured his double up. He's closing in on 100,000 after dragging that big pot, while Jacobs falls back to about 65,000.

Kaverman Holed Up

Level 13 : 700/1,400, 200 ante

Byron Kaverman shoved his last 17,500 chips in before the flop with {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}, and he was poised to double up as AJ Jejelowo made the call with {3-Diamonds} {3-Hearts}. Kaverman's hand was superior only until the {7-Spades} {3-Spades} {6-Diamonds} flop, though, and he could not catch up on the {4-Hearts} turn or {7-Hearts} river.

Two outs are enough for Jejelowo, knocking Kaverman out in 27th place.

More For Senie

Brian Senie opened to 4,000 from the cutoff and Dan Heimiller three-bet to 10,000 on the button. The blinds folded, Senie called, and the flop came down {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

Both checked to see the {7-Clubs} turn. Again both checked, leading to the {4-Clubs} river. Senie bet 16,000 and Heimiller called, clearly upset with himself when he saw Senie table {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for a flush. Heimiller flashed {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} as Senie collected the chips.
