Day 2 Dawns
From our record-breaking field of 872 runners, just 162 of them survived to see this second day break at the WSOP-C Hammond, Indiana.
It's unknown quantity Jim Kasputis who leads the way, his count of 360,000 putting him more than 50,000 ahead of his nearest rivals. From the pro side, Aaron "NDGrinder" Steury finished up in the top ten in chips, and on-and-off chip leader Allen Bari is within striking distance as well.
We're scheduled for ten one-hour levels today, which should take us close to 2 a.m. by the time it's all over with. The money bubble will burst when we drop to 90 players. The staff would love to reach the final table today, but that's just not a reality, unfortunately. The math tells us we should have about 25 players left when the chip bags come out, and it's going to be a long two-day stretch from here to the crowning of our champion.
This moving day kicks off in just about 15 minutes, so don't wander off on us. We'll be back with the shuffle up and deal.
