Pilgrim Gone

Dwyte Pilgrim
Dwyte Pilgrim

Dwyte Pilgrim has been nursing a short stack for quite some time and it looks like his number is up. We didn't catch the hand but Pilgrim was seen exiting the tournament area and his spot at the table was devoid of chips. Pilgrim, who finished third in the previous WSOPC Main Event at Council Bluffs, will not be adding to his point total in this tournament.

Dudani Flops a Set

Shiva Dudani
Shiva Dudani

Shiva Dudani raised to 3,900 from middle position only to have the cutoff move all in for around 15,000. Dudani, who barely had him covered, made the call.

Dudani: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Cutoff: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

Dudani was in bad shape, that is until the flop came down {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and gave him a set. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn and {K-Spades} on the river changed nothing and Dudani sent his opponent to the rail while increasing his stack to aorund 33,000.

Tip the Dealer

An unknown player moved all in after the flop in a multi-way pot. All of his opponents folded and he asked, "Do you want to see?" Of course the table did and the man said, "Tip the dealer five dollars."

The player directly to his left pulled out a wad of cash and pulled out a $20 bill. The player who had moved all in gave the man change and then told the dealer to keep the entire $20 (meaning he tipped her $15 on top). He promptly showed pocket sixes for a flopped set and everyone was happy.

Cole Winning and Showing

Michael Cole continues his solid run here in the Main Event and has now built up to about 140,000 in chips. That stacks looks to be leading the way as we move through the last few levels of the night. Cole hasn't been shy about the cards he's playing either and has been regularly showing his hands to his opponents. Here's a look.

After a player opened with a raise to 3,300 in middle position, action moved to Cole in the small blind. He reraised to 10,000 and won the pot showing the {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

On the next hand, action folded to Cole on the button and he opened with a raise to 4,000. The two blinds gave it up and Cole showed the {A-Spades} from his hand.
