No Cash For Rico

An under-the-gun player raised to 2,500 and the player in the hijack called. Doug "Rico" Carli went all in for 7,200 from the big blind and both players called.

The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and the under-the-gun player bet 14,000, getting a quick call. Both remaining players checked the {10-Diamonds} turn card and {Q-Diamonds} river card. It was {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} for the under-the-gun player, winning the side pot and besting Carli's {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} for the main pot.

Land-Slide

With a board reading {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, John Land bet 2,200 and was called by his sole opponent in the cutoff. "I have a king," Land said as he revealed {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}.

"It's good," the cutoff said. "I had the queen with the same kicker." With that, Land took down the pot worth about 12,000.

Although we didn't have any Full Tilt pros in the field today, you can bet they'll be making an appearance at the next Regional Championship in Atlantic City. Television coverage is planned as part of the newly revamped WSOP Circuit and it should bring out tons of big names.

We know our coverage is riveting and all, but we also know how well your are at multi-tasking. How about signing up for a Full Tilt Poker account and getting on the virtual felt? After all, it is where you can "Learn, Chat and Play with the Pros."

Seven-High, Seven Times

We were passing by T.J. Cloutier who seemed more focused on the Sunday Night Football game between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys. He was dealt a hand, glanced down and tossed them in the muck. "We're on our way up," he said. "Seven straight hands I've had seven-high. This time I had 8-high."

Don't Try Tryba

Chris Tryba was down to his last 15,000 and in the big blind when action folded around to the small blind. He was obviously hoping to get a walk but the small blind didn't oblige and instead raised to 3,000. Before his chips even hit the felt, Tryba tossed his entire stack into the pot. The small blind took a moment and then folded as Tryba showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. He is up to around 18,500.
