Crawford Catching Cards

Claudia Crawford raised to 3,000 from early position and received a call from the player in the cutoff. The flop came down {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Crawford continuation bet another 3,000. The cutoff thought it over before folding. Crawford flashed {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and said, "If you had an ace, you had an ace."

"I didn't," was the cutoff's simple reply. Crawford is up to around 70,000.

"Don't Make Fun of Me T.J."

In a recent hand, Seat 1 was all in with pocket sixes against the {K-}{Q-} of his opponent with a flop of {K-}{J-}{J-}. The turn delivered a {6-} for Seat 1 and the river blanked, giving him the double. Apparently worried about his play, the first thing he said was, "Don't make fun of me T.J.," which was directed at his tablemate.

"I wasn't going to," smiled Cloutier. "You were ahead." Meanwhile Cloutier's former tablemate, Aaron Brandt, has been eliminated from the tournament.

Land Adds Some More

With about 10,000 in the pot and a board reading {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{J-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, the small blind checked to John Land who bet 4,000. The small blind must have smelled something fishy because he made the call.

"Aces," Land said as he flipped {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. the small blind seemed surprised as he threw his cards in the muck. Land managed to add a few thousand to his massive stack.
