Day 1b Started
We're back for the second flight of the day, Day 1b as they're calling it. We'll call it Night 1a. Whatever your term for it, it's begun.
We've got a fairly full house here, and it looks like we may have as many as 25 tables in play right now. We'll go get a SITREP and give you a few more details post haste.

More to follow...
Dwyte Pilgrim, Jason Young, Daniel Weinman, Ory Hen, Danny Suied, and Joanne Dorin have all taken their seats.
Jason Young is in the field this evening, and may we say, he looks like hell. Young is sick with something awful, but he has still ventured out of his hotel room and into the Kennel Club to have a go at this Main Event.
"In your history of covering these events," he asked us, "how do people generally do when they're so sick they can barely get out of bed?"
Good question, Jason. Double up or go home, we say.
We've spotted another of our Circuit regulars here in the room, Michael Traylor.
We first ran across Traylor in Lake Tahoe as he picked up his third cash of the Circuit season with a final table berth in that Main Event. He went on to finish in third place for $38,743, and we see he's ventured eastward for this stop as well.
Traylor has done well for himself here in Palm Beach too, already racking up another final table with a sixth-place showing in the $345 preliminary event, but he has his sights set on much loftier goals. With four cashes thus far in 2010-11, Traylor has racked up 67.5 points, good enough to put him in a tie for 48th place in the National Leaderboard. There are 34 seats to the National Championship at stake for the top finishers, and Traylor has come to town in search of a few extra points to bolster his credentials for this year.
Or a ring to lock up a seat the old-fashioned way.

From the PA syatem: "Okay players, we just wanted to let you know that we've broken the million-dollar prizepool mark, and we have close to 700 players in the event."
A muted applause coursed its way through the room, but it really is something to be impressed with. So far, 679 players have ponied up the $1,600 required to play this event, creating a prize pool just in excess of $1 million. The staff announced that it was officially the largest tournament the state of Florida has ever seen, but that may not be correct.
From our records, Florida's largest tournament is still the Fall Poker Open from last November in Hollywood, Florida.
But this Circuit Main Event is certainly a very impressive second now. And registration is still open for another half hour.
