Two for Duke

Level 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

Duke Laha checked his option in the big blind after the player in first position limped and Bernard Lee called from the small blind.

The flop was {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Lee checked, Laha bet 150 and both players called. The turn was the {k-Hearts} and was checked three ways. The river was the {4-Clubs} and Lee checked again. Laha bet 300 this time and Lee was the only caller. Laha tabled {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades} which was enough to ship the pot.

The very next hand, the same three players saw the flop for the minimum and Laha made a wheel on the river to scoop up some more chips. He now has 23,000.
