Bell Busts

Chris Bell was crippled right before the dinner break, and came back with just 1,000 chips. Half of it went towards the ante, and the other half went in when the action folded to him in the cutoff. A player on the button raised to 13,000, and the blinds released.

Bell was trailing with {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} against his opponent's {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, and the board ran {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Spades}, eliminating him from the tournament.

Bubble Boys

Michael Dentale and Alok Arora were both eliminated with 73 players remaining, so they will split the 72nd-place prize of $2,611.

Dentale was left with just 3,000 chips after losing a massive race, and got the remainder of his stack in the middle with {a-}{6-}. An opponent had him at risk with {k-}{8-}, and flopped a king.

Arora got the rest of his stack in with kings agains two players. The board ran {6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, and one of the players held {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} for a pair of aces.

The two players will receive $1,306 each, and will both be credited with 72nd place.

The Good Die Young

The action folded to Orson Young in the small blind who moved all in for around 90,000. Ryan Higgins tank-called in the big blind, and the hands were opened.

Showdown

Young{a-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Higgins{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop was interesting because it gave Young a pair of nines, but he only had a 53% advantage according to the PokerNews Odds Calculator.

The turn was red, but the {6-Diamonds} did not improve Higgins' hand. The {10-Diamonds} on the river did however, and it also eliminated Young from the tournament.

Higgins is now flirting with 400,000 chips, while Young is off to the cage to collect some cash.

Norman Rodriquez opened in early position for 12,500 and the player in the big blind called. The flop came {9-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}, the big blind checked and Rodriguez bet 13,500. The big blind raised to 30,000 and Rodriguez snap-shoved.

The big blind called and didn't want to show his hand after Rodriguez tabled pocket nines. The dealer flipped his hand, pocket fours, and ran the rest of the board - {8-Spades} {8-Hearts}.

Castagna Casted Away

Oscar Castagna moved all in from early position, Eddy Carroll re-shoved right behind him, and the rest of the players folded.

Showdown

Castagna{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Carroll{k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Spades} flop pushed Carroll even further ahead, but the {q-Clubs} on the turn kept Castagna alive. The case queen would save him from elimination, but it was the {8-Hearts} that fell on the river.

Castagna is out, while Carroll now has over 400,000 chips.
