Kurt Jewell is looking for redemption after finishing 8th in this event last year. Jewell brought a commanding chiplead into the final table last year, but luck wasn't on his side. His hands were cracked or outflopped in an almost cruel opening levels of the final table.
Jacob Bazeley will also be looking for his first title, he took 2nd place in the WSOPC Southern Indiana Main Event earlier this season. Bazeley had a four-to-one chiplead over Castoire and got it in good four times only to have Castoire hit the flops better than he.
