Day 3 Started
Welcome back to the third and final day of the 2012-13 WSOP Circuit Caesars Atlantic City Main Event. Just 19 players remain of the 540 total entries for this one, all battling for the greater part of the tourney's $810,000 prize pool including a cool $174,150 up top for the winner.

We certainly had a ton of action on the first hand of play. Just before the elimination of Joseph Steur, Sai Wang doubled through Gregory Burns on another table. We didn't catch the hand as it happened, but Wang held , and the board had come down .
After that hand, Wang is up to 615,000, while Burns is cripple to 77,000.

Sai Wang | 615,000 | 316,000 |
Gregory Burns | 77,000 | -301,000 |
On the very first hand of the day, the table folded around to Joseph Steur in the small blind. Down to just about a dozen big blinds, Steur was hoping to pick up a hand with which to push. He saw he'd been dealt , and did just that.
Unfortunately for him, Ido Ashkenazi looked down at his hand in the big blind and saw an ace as well… and another. He called and tabled his , and when the community cards ran out Steur was eliminated.
A brief pause here as the final 18 now redraw for the last two tables.

Burns was crippled on the first hand of the day, but managed to double up on the first hand after the redraw, when his caught up with the of Joseph McKeehen. However, he went out on the next hand.
Burns open shoved for his last 150,000, and action folded around to Hend Matthews in the big blind. She looked down at her cards, then grimaced a bit, but held on to her hand. She clearly had a close decision, and said "If I didn't see you shove with Queen deuce just now I probably wouldn't call". She stacked the calling chips together, and slid them in.

Burns was once again dominated, but this time, he didn't get so lucky. The board ran down , and Matthews collected the bounty, upping her stack to 810,000. Meanwhile, Burns will have to settle for a payday just short of $9,000.

Hend Matthews | 810,000 | 93,000 |
Gregory Burns | Busted |
Following an early position raise from Dave Fox and a call from the big blind by Leo Walker, the pot was about 60,000 when the flop came . Walker responded by shoving all in for about 440,000, and Fox called the bet.
Walker turned over for a flush draw while Fox had for a lesser flush draw and pair of queens. The turn meant Fox was still ahead, but the binked on the river for Walker and he survives.

Leo Walker | 925,000 | 430,000 |
Dave Fox | 535,000 | -498,000 |
A short-stacked Scott Cosagrande open-raised all in for 120,000 from the cutoff seat, then Tony Sinishtaj reraised all in over the top from the button to chase the blinds.

Sinishtaj:
The flop came , then the gave Sinishtaj a set but left Cosagrande with some flush outs. The river was the , though, and Cosagrande is out.

It has been a rough first half-hour for Dave Fox. After Leo Walker doubled through him just now, another player — Tom Dobrilovic — has done so as well.
Dobrilovic had just doubled his short stack through Sai Wang, in fact, to push up to about 230,000. Then he was all in and at risk again with versus Fox's . The board went , and Dobrilovic grabbed a chunk more from Fox.
