Field Full of Contenders to Fight for the Final Table
Following 14 hours of poker action, Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Circuit Horseshoe Bossier City Main Event is set to be underway with 130 returning players all eyeing one of the final nine seats. Leading them all is Caufman Talley (264,700) and he holds a near 60,000 chip lead over second place Bradley Lipsey (208,000).
A stacked field returns multiple WSOPC ring winners and notables, including; Charles Moore, Abraham Araya, Andy Philachck, David Nicholson, Corey Burbick, Seneca Easley, Kyle Cartwright, Mark Kroon, La Sengphet, Maurice Hawkins, Drew Dumanski and Allen Kessler.
Talley is looking to for back-to-back wins after winning Event #9 a couple days ago. Cartwright is looking to become the all-time WSOPC ring leader, holding five currently, and looking for back-to-back WSOPC Main Event rings - he won the IP Biloxi stop just a few weeks ago.
Nicholson is looking to defend his Main Event title that he won here just over a year ago. On his second bullet he maintained an average stack until the end of the night when he went on a heater, peaking at 140,000.
Today's schedule calls for 13 levels of play which should bring the field very close to the final table, if not past it. Cards will be in the air promptly at 12 p.m. CST and follow all the WSOPC action live on Pokernews.com.
