Nick Guagenti Eliminated in 8th Place ($49,075)

Nick Guagenti - 8th Place
Nick Guagenti - 8th Place

Nick Guagenti open-shoved his last 915,000 from under the gun, Sean Szurko called on his direct left, and the other six players folded.

Guagenti: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Szurko: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop changed little, and the {10-Clubs} spiked on the turn giving Szurko an unbeatable hand. Guagenti was already gathering his things as the {j-Diamonds} completed the board, and he's off to the cage to receive his $49,075 prize.

Huge Double for Albrinck with Aces Over Kings

Brad Albrinck
Brad Albrinck

From early position, Sean Szurko raised to 200,000. Brad Albrinck was in the hijack seat and reraised to 500,000. Then, play fell on Tripp Kirk in the cutoff seat. He put in another reraise and made it 1.15 million to go. Play folded back to Szurko, and he gave it up. Albrinck then took a moment before moving all in. Kirk quickly called to create a massive pot worth over 10 million in chips.

Albrinck was all in for 5.12 million with the {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}, having Kirk's {K-Clubs}{K-Spades} not looking too good.

Things got worse for Kirk on the flop when the {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} rolled out and gave Albrinck a set of aces. The turn was the {J-Spades}, and the river was the {10-Clubs}. Albrinck had shipped the entire pot and doubled his stack to well over 10 million in chips. Kirk was knocked way down to under 600,000.

Don't Call It a Comeback

Tripp Kirk doubles

After open-jamming two straight hands and receiving no callers, Tripp Kirk open-jammed a third consecutive hand. This time, Josh Williams called the 1.72 million-chip bet on his direct left. The rest of the players folded.

Kirk: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Williams: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

The {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop left Williams with one less out, and the {2-Hearts} on the turn sealed the deal. The {4-Diamonds} complete the board, and Kirk doubled to more than 3.6 million chips.

Shiva Dudani Eliminated in 7th Place ($62,438)

Shiva Dudani - 7th Place
Shiva Dudani - 7th Place

From under the gun, Shiva Dudani raised to 1.495 million and was all in. Action folded over to Josh Williams on the button, and he made the call. Everyone else folded, and it was Dudani's {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} at risk against the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} for Williams.

The flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}, and Dudani was still in need of help. On the turn, the {A-Clubs} landed and officially left Dudani drawing dead before the river completed the board with the {10-Clubs}.

For his finish, Dudani earned $62,438. Williams scooped the pot and moved to approximately 7.5 million in chips.

Brad Albrinck opened with a raise to 240,000 before play folded over to Josh Williams, and he made it 425,000 to go. Albrinck moved all in for around 2.5 million, and Williams called.

Albrinck showed the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} for two big overcards to Williams' {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The flop, turn and river ran out blank for Albrinck as the dealer spread the {J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} across the middle of the felt. Albrinck was eliminated in sixth place, but did take home over $80,000 for his finish.

Sean Szurko Eliminated in 4th Place ($137,088)

Sean Szurko - 3rd place

On the very first hand after Zal Irani was eliminated, the action folded to Ryan Riess who raised to 275,000 from the small blind. Sean Szurko moved all in from the big blind, and Riess made the call.

Riess: {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Szurko: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}

Riess clapped after the flop came {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Only running spades or running straight cards would save Szurko. The turn was the {q-Hearts}, ending the hand, and the {k-Diamonds} completed the board.

Szurko was eliminated in fourth place, earning $137,088.

Tripp Kirk opened to 600,000 on the button, Ryan Riess three-bet to 1.325 million from the big blind, and Kirk called.

The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{k-Clubs}, and Riess led out for 1.45 million. Kirk raised all in for effectively 4.975 million, and Riess snapped it off.

Kirk: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Riess: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

"What a terrible hand for you to have," Kirk lamented.

"Give him a set!" someone on Kirk's rail shouted.

Neither the turn ({3-Hearts}) nor the river ({q-Spades}) improved Kirk enough to win the hand, and Riess doubled through.

Ryan Riess Eliminated in 2nd Place ($239,063)

Ryan Riess - 2nd Place
Ryan Riess - 2nd Place

Ryan Riess limped in from the button, and Josh Williams checked his option in the big blind to see the flop come down {Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}. Both players checked, and the turn brought the {K-Spades}. After Williams checked the turn, Riess bet 600,000. Williams called.

The river completed the board with the {8-Hearts}, and Williams checked. Riess moved all in, and Williams went into the tank.

"This would be the thinnest call of all time, but I think you have jack-ten," said Williams as he thought. Then, he called.

His call was correct as Riess held the {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for ten high. Williams had the {7-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a pair of sevens and had won the pot. Riess was eliminated in second place and walked away with $239,063 for his effort.
