Tripp Kirk opened to 80,000 from middle positon, Rob Zazay three-bet to 150,000 from the big blind, and Kirk made the call. The flop fell , and Zazay led for 130,000.
After 30 seconds or so, Kirk moved all in for effectively 900,000, and Zazay unhappily mucked face up. Kirk showed for a set of sevens.
Two hands later, the action folded to Zazay who min-raised on the button. Erik Roussakis, who finished third in this event last year, three-bet to 220,000, and Zazay moved all in. Roussakis snapped it off.
The flop was dry, but the ripped off on the turn, giving Roussakis a pair of kings. The completed the board, and Zazay was eliminated in 15th place.
