Huge Double for Albrinck with Aces Over Kings

Brad Albrinck
Brad Albrinck

From early position, Sean Szurko raised to 200,000. Brad Albrinck was in the hijack seat and reraised to 500,000. Then, play fell on Tripp Kirk in the cutoff seat. He put in another reraise and made it 1.15 million to go. Play folded back to Szurko, and he gave it up. Albrinck then took a moment before moving all in. Kirk quickly called to create a massive pot worth over 10 million in chips.

Albrinck was all in for 5.12 million with the {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}, having Kirk's {K-Clubs}{K-Spades} not looking too good.

Things got worse for Kirk on the flop when the {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} rolled out and gave Albrinck a set of aces. The turn was the {J-Spades}, and the river was the {10-Clubs}. Albrinck had shipped the entire pot and doubled his stack to well over 10 million in chips. Kirk was knocked way down to under 600,000.
