Liebert Gets it In Good, Busts

In a raised pot preflop, Kathy Liebert and Claudia Crawford were heads up with the board reading {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Liebert led out for 60,000, and Crawford moved all in, having Liebert well covered.

Liebert tank-called, and the hands were opened.

Liebert: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Crawford: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The {4-Clubs} on the turn was a brick, but the {q-Hearts} slammed on the river, eliminating Liebert from the tournament.

"Sorry," Crawford offered.

Childs with Back-To-Back Aces

Lee Childs was just dealt a dream scenario: back-to-back pocket aces. Unfortunately for him, he was only able to won one of the two hands.

On the first hand, Jeff Fielder and Childs got all in on the {J-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. Childs held the {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}, but Fielder had flopped a set of fives with the {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Fielder's set held after the {Q-Diamonds} hit the turn and {8-Clubs} hit the river. He was all in for 249,000, and doubled to over 500,000 in chips.

On the very next hand, Childs moved all in from the cutoff seat for 113,000, and Fielder called from the small blind. Fielder held the {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}, but was dominated by the {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} for Childs. The flop, turn and river ran out {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, and Childs doubled back.

Crawford Wins Massive, 1.9 Million-Chip Pot

With the average stack sitting around 404,000, we just witnessed a near 2 million-chip pot.

There was a raise by Charles Donahue preflop, and two calls from Claudia Crawford and Josh Williams. The flop fell {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}, Donahue checked, and Crawford fired 40,000. Williams called, Donahue raised to what looked like 110,000 or so, and only Crawford called.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds}, and Donahue led out for 148,000. Crawford raised to 308,000, and Donahue moved all in for 813,000.

"Wow," Crawford blurted. "This is my whole tournament."

When the count was verified by the dealer, Crawford went deep into the tank.

"Sorry guys," she offered, but no one dared be impatient - there was already over 1.4 million in the middle of the table.

Crawford eventually called, tabling {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for top two pair, and Donahue rolled over {10-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush draw.

The river was a red {5-Diamonds}, and just like that Donahue was eliminated.

"I tried to fold," Crawford told him after the hand, but Donahue wasn't mad.

"You made a great call," he told her.

Crawford is now way ahead of the pack with an astounding 2.3 million chips.
