Cai Gone; Tamayo Thrives

Level 24 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante

Jonathan Tamayo opened to 30,000 from under the gun and was called by Arshin Gamini from middle position and Zhen Cai on the button. The flop brought {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Tamayo continued for 65,000. Gamini folded and Cai flat called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and Tamayo checked. Cai slid out 71,000 and Tamayo instantly announced that he was all in which was actually a bet for Cai's life. Cai called only to find that he was behind.

Tamayo: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Cai: {Q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The river bricked out for Cai and he was eliminated from play. By absorbing Cai's stack, Tamayo has now built up to about 1.5 million in chips.

Siddiqui: {A-}{10-}

The board ran out {2-}{2-}{J-}{5-}{2-} and Campanello's fours were able to hold, sending Siddiqui home in 19th place. With this elimination, the players have re-drawn once again for the final two tables. We'll have a full re-draw seating chart momentarily.

Ladies For Rose

Level 24 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante

Bryan Campanello raised to 28,000 from early position. Mark Rose slid out a three-bet to 81,000 from the cutoff and Luke Graham tank-called from the big blind. Campanello let it go and the flop was {5-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

The action went check-check and the dealer produced the {8-Spades} on fourth street. Graham led for 110,000 and Rose called. The board completed with the {6-Spades} and Graham bet 110,000 once more.

"Ugh," lamented Rose. "Did you flop a set of jacks?"

He mulled back and forth over the decision for about a minute before finally flinging out a call.

"You've got it," said Graham.

Rose tabled {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and took down the pot. He's now sporting about 700,000 in chips.

Level 24 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante
Andrew Crooks - 18th Place
Andrew Crooks - 18th Place

Andrew Crooks was under the gun, and opened to 35,000. The action folded to Jonathan Tamayo, who three-bet to 90,000 in middle position, and the rest of the players released back to Crooks. He announced all in, making it 228,000 more to go, and Tamayo tanked for the better part of two minutes before calling.

Crooks: {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Tamayo: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

There was a jack on the {2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop, giving Tamayo a leading pair, and the Team Ivey member held as the turn and river came {7-Diamonds}, {6-Diamonds} respectively.

Crooks will earn $10,392 for his 18th-place finish, while Tamayo now has over 1.8 million chips.

David MacDonald Eliminated in 17th Place ($10,392)

Level 24 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante
David MacDonald - 17th Place
David MacDonald - 17th Place

Tom Gleason open-shoved for 291,000 from early position, and the action folded to David MacDonald, who quickly called in the big blind.

Gleason: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
MacDonald: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The {8-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop missed MacDonald, but the {3-Hearts} on the turn gave him a flush draw. The {q-Clubs} bricked on the river however, and Gleason doubled to around 600,000 chips.

The very next hand, William Looper opened to 31,000 from middle position. MacDonald called in the small blind, Nancy Birnbaum three-bet to 114,000 from the big blind, and Looper folded. MacDonald moved all in four 275,000 total, and Birnbaum snapped it off.

MacDonald: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Birnbaum: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The kings held as the board ran out {5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, and MacDonald was eliminated.
