Daniel Weinman Eliminated in 4th Place ($77,438)

Level 34 : 60,000/120,000, 30,000 ante
Daniel Weinman - 4th Place
Daniel Weinman - 4th Place

Jospeh Hebert opened for 250,000 from the cutoff and was met by an all-in three-bet to 1.86 million by Daniel Weinman.

"How much is it?" Hebert asked before calling with the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. Weinman then tabled the {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Weinman was behind but was drawing to two live cards.

The {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop didn't provide much help, but Weinman stayed positive. "I can't be drawing dead on the turn," he pointed out.

While that was true, the {8-Clubs} turn didn't give him a lot of hope. In order to survive Weinman would need either a king or a ten on the river. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {8-Diamonds}, the last card Weinman would see. The runner-up in the Harrah's Cherokee Main Event took home $77,438 for his fourth-place finish.

Khodayarkhani Wins a Big One

Level 34 : 60,000/120,000, 30,000 ante
Kasra Khodayarkhani
Kasra Khodayarkhani

Joseph Hebert opened to 250,000 on the button, Kasra Khodayarkhani called in the big blind, and the flop fell {5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. Khodayarkhani checked, Hebert continued for around 300,000, and Khodayarkhani quickly check-raised to around 700,000. Hebert immediately called.

The turn was a repeat five - the {5-Clubs} - and both players checked.

A third five - the {5-Hearts} - completed the board, and Khodayarkhani led out for 400,000. Hebert raised to one million, and Khodayarkhani quickly called.

"Nice hand," Hebert said, mucking.

Khodayarkhani showed {j-Spades}{8-Clubs} for fives full of jacks, and raked in the pot.

Golden Graham

Level 35 : 70,000/140,000, 20,000 ante

Kasra Khodayarkhani opened for 280,000 from the button and then called when Luke Graham shoved for 2.41 million from the big blind.

Khodayarkhani: {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Graham: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

Graham was well out in front, and despite pleas for a four from Khodayarkhani's rail, the dealer put out a clean {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Hearts} board.

More for Hebert

Level 35 : 70,000/140,000, 20,000 ante

Kasra Khodayarkhani opened for 280,000 and Joseph Hebert looked him up from the small blind. The latter player checked the {9-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop and Khodayarkhani continued for 275,000. Hebert then sprung to life with a check-raise to 775,000, Khodayarkhani called and the dealer burned and turned the {K-Spades}.

Hebert wasted little time in putting out a bet of 1 million, and it did the trick as Khodayarkhani released his hand.

Six Hands

Level 35 : 70,000/140,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #1: Luke Graham opened to 310,000 in the small blind and Kasra Khodayarkhani moved all in for 2.27 million. Graham folded, and Khodayarkhani showed {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Hand #2: Khodayarkhani limped in from the small blind, Joseph Hebert checked, and the flop fell {2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Hebert led out for 150,000, Khodayarkhani raised to 325,000, and Hebert called. Both players checked when the {a-Spades} turned, Hebert checked again when the {9-Spades} completed the board, and Khodayarkhani moved all in. Hebert folded.

Hand #3: Khodayarkhani opened to 280,000 on the button, Graham moved all in in the big blind, and Khodayarkhani folded {k-}{10-}. He requested that Graham show him a worse hand, but he showed the same hand - {k-}{10-}.

Hand #4: Hebert opened to 280,000 on the button, Khodayarkhani defended, and both players checked on a flop of {8-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Khodayarkhani led out for 290,000 when the {2-Hearts} tuened, Hebert folded, and Khodayarkhani showed {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.

Hand #5: Khodayarkhani opened to 285,000 on the button, Hebert three-bet to around 700,000 from the small blind, and Khodayarkhani folded.

Hand #6: Graham limped in, Khodayarkhani checked, and the two checked on the flop ({9-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}) and the turn ({q-Hearts}). Graham led out for 225,000 when the {8-Hearts} completed the board, then snap-mucked when Khodayarkhani called. Khodayarkhani showed {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

Hebert with a Four-Bet Bluff

Level 35 : 70,000/140,000, 20,000 ante

Joseph Hebert kicked off the action with a raise to 300,000 from the button. Luke Graham then three-bet to 820,000 from the small blind, prompting Kasra Khodayarkhani to fold the big. Hebert then took his time before four-betting to 1.5 million, which put the pressure on Graham. He thought for a solid minute before folding, and he probably wishes he hadn't as Hebert tabled the {Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Khodayarkhani Doubles Again

Level 35 : 70,000/140,000, 20,000 ante

Kasra Khodayarkhani tanked before open-shoving for 2.245 million on the button. Joseph Hebert folded from the small blind, and Luke Graham snap-called in the big blind.

Khodayarkhani: {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Graham: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

"I had the same hand," Hebert said, referring to Khodayarkhani's holdings.

Khodayarkhani was still about to flop an ace when the dealer fanned {2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}, and he held when the turn and river bricked {8-Spades}, {7-Spades} respectively. He doubled to 4.62 million chips, while Graham dropped down to 2.25 million.

Graham Doubles Back

Level 35 : 70,000/140,000, 20,000 ante

Luke Graham moved all in from the button for 1.865 million and Kasra Khodayarkhani called him from the small blind. Joseph Hebert then folded {A-}{4-} face up.

Khodayarkhani: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Graham: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

It was a flip, and one that would come down in Graham's favor as the board ran out an uneventful {6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

"Ahhh, why didn't you fold?" Hebert chimmed in. "If he don't call I probably call."

Kasra Khodayarkhani Eliminated in 3rd Place ($103,899)

Level 35 : 70,000/140,000, 20,000 ante
Kasra Khodayarkhani - 3rd Place
Kasra Khodayarkhani - 3rd Place

Luke Graham raised to 300,000 on the button, Kasra Khodayarkhani moved all in for 2.825 million in the small blind, and Graham tank-called.

Graham: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Khodayarkhani: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Khodayarkhani was drawing very slim when the flop fell {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, and he was drawing dead when the {5-Hearts} turned. A meaningless {8-Diamonds} completed the board, and Khodayarkhani was eliminated in third place.
